Dr. Solomon Cohen

DDS—Drescher, Cohen & Simian

Meet Dr. Solomon Cohen, one of the first original office tenants at Colony Square and a library full of great stories to share. Dr. Cohen’s practice moved to The Square in 1974. “I first took a look at Colony Square in 1973. During that time, there were hardly any dentists’ downtown and my vision was the energy of Midtown. I could have patients coming from all directions and Colony Square was the place for me to move.”

When we asked Dr. Cohen what he found unique about The Square unlike other places in Atlanta, he replied “the close proximity to Ansley and Piedmont Park. During lunch, I would walk over to the park and just sit around to relax and meditate. Simply put, the location and it’s a cultural center.”

What’s one inspirational advice Dr. Cohen would say? “Treat people the way you want to be treated and be of service to people. And Love what is. Good, bad, and ugly. If you learn, no matter what… if a patient shows up late or doesn’t call. Deal with it. Love what is.”
