Join Young Guru and Jamilah Lemieux for an exclusive evening of high energy mingling, hors d'œuvres and drinks, exciting announcements and lively discussion about the new OHUB X Flatiron School initiative to get 10,000 people of color coding over the next 12 months.
Our interactive discussion and panel features Young Guru, Jay-z’s Legendary Audio Engineer & DJ, who will talk to us about his journey from Howard University to working with the world’s greatest artists on the world’s largest stages, his big vision for the intersection of culture & tech and how anyone, anywhere, can make it happen for them as well.
Daniel Waithe, Mailchimp’s Director of Quality Assurance, and Chrissa McFarlane, Founder and CEO, Patientory, will also participate in the conversation.
The experience will be moderated by Rodney Sampson, Chief Executive Officer of Opportunity Hub and Nonresident Senior Fellow, The Brookings Institute.
We will end this part of the program with a quick testimonial, a Q/A on the path to learning to code to actually getting an in-demand job in tech with Flatiron School and an overview of our $1 million in scholarship
We will conclude the evening with an after party with Young Guru as he brings the latest beats as apart of the world’s largest music tour.
