Founded in 2006, May Architecture was created to pursue innovative projects across multiple fields and areas. Their commissions span a wide range of project types and sizes.

Their founding partner, Gil May, has extensive experience with large, complex projects in higher educational and institutional settings, including Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute, a $60 million, 260,000 square foot LEED Certified diagnostic, treatment and research facility. Since its inception, May Architecture + Interiors has had the honor of completing several projects with Georgia’s premiere institutions, including Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Georgia Regents University, Georgia College & State University, The Technical College System of Georgia, Emory Healthcare and Emory University.

They pride ourselves on providing big project, large firm mentality and experience with a small firm’s agility and project focus. As a result, their clients work only with our A-team and receive principal level involvement, attention, and expertise consistently throughout every part of the project.

May Architecture and its personnel are committed to designing sustainably. However, \their commitment to designing sustainably does not begin and end with programs such as LEED and the Georgia Peach Green Building Rating System. They consistently incorporate sustainable design into all of our projects and also into their project processes.
