Tapas and massages joining service-driven lineup at Midtown Atlanta mixed-use destination

ATLANTA (March 14, 2023) – North American Properties (NAP) has signed leases with Boqueria Tapas Bar and Restaurant (Boqueria) and Squeeze Massage (Squeeze) to take two of the last three remaining retail spaces at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta. Boqueria projects a spring 2024 opening while Squeeze plans to open later this summer.

“We’re excited to bring more customer-centric concepts to Midtown’s Living Room and round out our hospitality-inspired merchandising vision,” said Brooke Massey, NAP leasing representative. “With these additions, Colony Square is now truly a one-stop shop for office users, residents, hotel guests and everyday visitors alike to check to-dos off their errand list or spend time doing what they love in a single, connected location.”

Boqueria – Boqueria Tapas Bar and Restaurant is a celebration of the vibrant energy of Barcelona’s tapas bars. The 5,510-square-foot location at Colony Square will be the first in Georgia. Serving traditional Spanish small plates, curated cocktails, and an exclusively Spanish wine list, Boqueria, which will be located on the ground level of Building 500 below Jones Day, brings a taste of Barcelona to Midtown’s Living Room.

Squeeze ­– Launched in 2019 by the team behind Drybar, Squeeze was born out of the desire for a high-quality yet affordable massage. Growing across the U.S., this marks the first Georgia location for the tech-forward, neighborhood massage concept. Known for its modern and frictionless approach, Squeeze provides clients a personalized experience that utilizes technology to book appointments, set preferences, and pay through the Squeeze app. Guests book a 50- or 80-minute appointment with their desired massage therapist and customize elements such as suite lighting, music selection, aromatherapy scent, massage pressure, and more. Preferences are then saved to profiles and reviewed by therapists prior to each appointment so clients can walk in and float out. Located next to AYA Medical Spa, the 2,980-square-foot studio will feature 10 massage suites with a welcoming and whimsical architectural design.

These businesses join Holeman & Finch Public House and onlYoga as the latest additions to Colony Square’s diverse tenant collection, curated by NAP. Holeman & Finch Public House officially opened its doors last month. Billed as the first yoga studio in Midtown Atlanta, onlYoga’s new 1,180-square-foot Colony Square location is set to host a grand opening celebration with complimentary classes on March 18 and 19.

Adobe, Inc. also plans to plant its flag at Colony Square, utilizing space for its fully remote, Atlanta-based workforce to connect in person for recruiting, training, team-building events, and more. Adobe will be situated next to Boqueria on the ground level of Building 500 below Jones Day.
